Thursday’s workshop session, hosted by the Tipitina’s Music Office Co-Op in New Orleans was a blast! I loved the enthusiasm and questions you all presented.
New marketing can be a little overwhelming and difficult to accept, but once you overcome those obstacles, your path opens wide before you. Building a fan base from scratch takes a while, but if done with purposeful strategy, the long-term results are exponential. I hope that those of you early in your careers will pay special attention to your notes on the “Demand Generation” section of my presentation.
As requested, the next workshop (Thursday, February 16 at 4pm) will move deeply into analytics and metrics to understand who your fans are and to use that information to make the most amount of money you can:

Remember, a loyal fan spends 4x more on you than a passive fan does! Know who these people are. They essentially are your employers.
